Dr. Dan Cantillon is an adult EP cardiologist and Chief Medical Officer at Masimo Corporation, a medical device company based in Irvine, CA specializing in non-invasive patient monitoring. Previously, Dr. Cantillon served at Cleveland Clinic for over 16 years with multiple leadership roles including departmental research as well as the enterprise-wide Medical Director of Cleveland Clinic’s remote patient monitoring command center for the main campus and regional hospitals serving over 2,000 continuously monitored patients. His clinical achievements include the first-in-US implant of a dual chamber leadless cardiac pacemaker, and the first-in-human implant of an entirely leadless pacemaker-defibrillator. His original research contributions include lead or senior authorship in the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, other top-tier cardiology journals and clinical practice guidelines. He was the recipient of the Cleveland Clinic’s prestigious Sones-Favaloro Award for Innovation in Remote Patient Monitoring.


Austin is a Managing Director and Partner within BCG X, BCG’s tech build and design unit focused in healthcare. Austin partners with healthcare companies to launch innovative new products and businesses ranging from digital front door solutions to digital care delivery products. Austin lead the GenAI efforts for the Healthcare Payer and Provider unit at BCG. Prior to BCG, Austin has held roles across strategy, engineering, product, design, and operations in consulting, technology companies, and start-ups. Relevant BCG experience: Led shift for hospital from digital to product organization launching multiple products across maternity postpartum, migraine treatment, next-gen urgent care; Launched digital 2nd opinion platform for top specialty health system; Developed digital home health business and product strategy for regional health system; Built digital engagement platform aimed at preventing the progression of cardiac disease through sustained behavior change; Built AI-patient engagement app to improve adherence and experience; Launched healthcare business and hardware / software AI medical device for consumer goods company focused on driving health at home and preventative care; Conducted enterprise assessment and redesign for prior-authorization technology portfolio at a large national payer. Tad Funahashi, MD, is the Chief Innovation Officer for Kaiser Permanente Southern California. In this role, he leads a team of physicians, consultants, designers, data scientists, and engineers who work together with teams and leaders across Kaiser Permanente to envision and build the healthcare delivery system of the future at the Kaiser Permanente Innovations Studio. Dr. Funahashi and the Innovation Studio take a people-first approach to healthcare to enhance the member experience by improving care across the continuum, leveraging big data to provide personalized and improved quality of care, and exploring emerging opportunities that have transformative potential. He is also a practicing orthopedic physician with Southern California Permanente Medical Group.


Dr. Dan Huynh, MD FACP, is a distinguished hospitalist practicing with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG). With over two decades of experience, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare at Kaiser Permanente, Southern California Region (KPSC).
During his tenure as the regional hospitalist chief, Dr. Huynh played a pivotal role in standardizing and enhancing the quality of care delivered by over 500 hospitalists across KPSC. His efforts contributed significantly to ensuring consistency and excellence in patient care throughout the region.
In his role as the regional medical director for home care services, Dr. Huynh spearheaded the introduction of innovative care models, such as the COVID Home Monitoring program. This initiative utilized technology to provide care for more than 22,000 COVID patients in the comfort of their homes, demonstrating Dr. Huynh’s commitment to leveraging advancements in healthcare to benefit patients. Currently, Dr. Huynh leads the expansion of KPSC’s Advanced Medical Care at Home program, the largest acute care at home program in the nation. This program ensures that patients receive high-quality, personalized care outside of traditional hospital settings, improving access and outcomes for individuals in need of acute medical services.
Dr. Huynh earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, and completed his residency at UC Irvine Medical Center.


Alyssa Millan is a healthcare leader based in Los Angeles, California, currently serving as Director of Care Transformation at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, she spearheads initiatives that improve care delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency across the organization. Alyssa played a key role in Kaiser’s COVID-19 Home Monitoring Program, which enabled thousands of patients to recover safely at home.
She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and her Master of Public Health (MPH) from UCLA, with her graduate studies completed at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.


Dr. Columbus Batiste, known as the “Healthy Heart Doc,” is a captivating speaker and advocate of plant-based nutrition. His unique ability to turn disparity topics into relatable and engaging conversations makes him one of the leading lifestyle medical influencers. He educates his audience on simple healthy heart strategies for documentaries, podcasts, news outlets, international conferences, churches, and nonprofit organizations.

Beth Andrews is chief digital health officer and business development lead for life sciences and healthcare, global alliances at Dell Technologies. Before joining Dell, she spent more than 20 years as an entrepreneur and intrapreneur launching emerging tech in start-ups and F500 companies. She held product development, business development and emerging technology leadership roles. Her leadership in these companies comprising the mHealth space helped to pioneer and establish the digital health segment. She helped develop one of the earliest commercialised wearable sensors and digital therapeutic patches in the early mHealth days. She led go-to-market adoption of remote patient monitoring solutions for medical surgery, ICU and virtual ICU units as well as development of computer vision solutions. She is a MassChallenge HealthTech 2020 Cohort participation winner of the Accelerator’s Platinum Award.
