This past weekend, my family gathered in Boston to watch my oldest son graduate from Babson College (which just so happens to be the college ranked #1 for entrepreneurship by U.S. News & World Report). To say I was a proud father would be an understatement, and though my wife and I are enjoying our time as ‘empty nesters,’ it will be nice for him to come home for a moment before launching into his next journey into the ‘real world.’

This new stage in his life piqued my curiosity and I decided to consult with my AI friend, ChatGPT, to get its thoughts on the SoCal innovation ecosystem and what opportunities await my son and other recent graduates who make this region home. I got a kick out of what it said:
