Alliance for SoCal Innovation Welcomes Dave de Csepel as next CEO and Executive Director

We are excited to share that Dave de Csepel will be joining the Alliance for SoCal Innovation as our new CEO/Executive Director, beginning on May 19, 2025.

Dave brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial, investment, and leadership experience to the role. He currently serves as Chairman of the TCA Venture Group and formerly held the same position at the Pasadena Angels. Both organizations are dedicated to mentoring and investing in early-stage companies, with over 500 members offering deep, cross-industry expertise throughout Southern California. 

Dave is a serial entrepreneur and has spent the last decade as a lead investor and consultant at BioCorRx Inc., a publicly traded healthcare solutions company focused on treatments for alcohol and opioid addiction. Earlier in his career, he was a founding member and owner of Veritas Realty Investments, where he led design, project management, and sales for a portfolio of residential projects across Greater Los Angeles.

Dave also brings media and communications expertise from leadership roles at Discovery Networks, Turner Entertainment, and ESPN, and is passionate about education—he currently serves as an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena.

We’re thrilled to have Dave step into this leadership role and help guide the Alliance’s continued growth and impact. I will revert back to my role as COO to continue driving excellence across our world-class programs and am looking forward to working with Dave whom I’ve gotten to know over the past few weeks. I’m confident that the Alliance will benefit from his unique set of skills and perspectives which are tailor-made for this CEO/ED role. Welcome Dave!
